The Muskoka Stone Company has evolved under the careful guidance of a 5th generation Muskoka stone craftsman, Boyd Smith. The Smith family emigrated from England in 1882 when they settled in Muskoka. Much of the early stonework of the grand estates and Muskoka Lakes resorts was carried out by the Smith family including the well known Windermere house. Although most of our stonework is concentrated in the area of Muskoka, The Muskoka Stone Company has been involved with projects all over Ontario, British Columbia and the United States.
